This is true wild camping, and some level of skill and confidence is needed to tackle the road to access this site. Do you need an off road vehicle? Absolutely not, locals take this road on armed with battered old Honda Dream type bikes, lighter is actually better here. However, there are a couple of steep, rocky sections. The ethnic people here speak Thai. They are also very friendly and happy to have visitors! The river runs fast, with natural pools perfect for swimming without you being swept away.
